Training Thoughts of the Week

New week more thoughts. This week’s list of random training thoughts is ready. A quick, no fluff list of training thoughts to get us thinking.

  1. Just because you’re a younger lifter and can get away with more (bad technique, excessive training volume, etc.) doesn’t mean you should.

  2. Training success is about momentum. You have to create momentum. Training for a week or a month, and then stopping for a long period of time is creating momentum in the wrong direction. Consistency is key. To a degree, even a bad program can create some positive results if you’re consistent enough.

  3. Strength is low hanging fruit for young athletes and can be a game changer.

Did any of these generate some of your own thoughts or spark some questions? Let me know, I’d love to hear them.
