Training Thoughts of the Week

This week’s list of random training thoughts is ready. A quick, no fluff list of training thoughts to get us thinking.

  1. Hands on the knees isn’t a sign of weakness during physical activity. It’s actually the body’s preferred way of putting the diaphragm in a better position to recover faster.

  2. Technique: the one major factor that will determine how much you get out of skills such as running, jumping, lifting, etc.

  3. Training and exercising are two very different things. Exercising is random with no thought, direction, or goals. Whereas training has specific goals, thoughts, and purposes behind what is being done. Don’t exercise, train.

If any of these generated some of your own thoughts or sparked some questions, feel free to let me know. I’d love to hear them.
