Training Thoughts of the Week

Hope everybody is doing great. This week’s list of random training thoughts is ready. A quick, no fluff list of training thoughts to get us thinking.

  1. Making somebody puke is never the goal. The goal is to develop the heck out of energy systems in an intelligent way so they don’t puke.

  2. There is no magic pill. Stop looking for it.

  3. Stress is stress to the body. It can’t differentiate between good stress (training) and bad stress (outside side factors that cause mental stress). This makes looking at the big picture extremely important to get the best outcomes. Great training is stress management.

If any of these generated some of your own thoughts or sparked some questions, feel free to let me know. I’d love to hear them.
