Training Thoughts of the Week

Hope this finds you all happy and safe. This week’s list of random training thoughts is ready. A quick, no fluff list of training thoughts to get us thinking.

1. Think about exercises on a continuum from general to specific. A good program should have both, but how much of each is individual specific.

2. Good training equals the right things at the right time, over and over again.

3. Should we be doing a lot of sit-ups, or is it possible we are doing more harm than good? Looking at the work of spine specialist Stu McGill, repeated flexion of the lumbar spine is probably a no go.

If any of these generated some of your own thoughts or sparked some questions, feel free to let me know. I’d love to hear them.
