Week in Review

Week in Review on gillaspytraining.com:

I think core training might be one of my favorite topics. So important and can have such a dramatic impact on how we function.

I’m not necessarily against any one diet, but just don’t like to lose sight of the big rocks when it comes to losing weight. The way we are constantly bombarded with the “best” diet, it can be easy to do. I went to Barnes and Noble just the other day and thought I’d look for a recipe book. There were about 200 or 300 books on the shelf and I found one that wasn’t keto, vegan, paleo, or something of the like.

Bills and Chiefs tried to give me a heart attack. Was one of the best football games of all time.

Parker with a pretty impressive split squat. He’s been working hard and has had a great first month.

In the fitness realm, maybe more than anything else, people get caught up in comparisons. More often than not it’s comparing how they look or how much weight they can lift in comparison to somebody else. This can sometimes get to the point of unhealthy. People have different goals, experience, body types, etc. Zone in and worry about what you need to do to get to where you want to be.

Thanks for reading and have a great week!
