Barbell Alternative
There’s really no need to be completely married to the barbell. I like the barbell as well, but if it’s causing you pain that you can’t figure it out, I promise your muscles have no idea if you’re pressing with a barbell or another implement. Muscles are dumb, they don’t know what’s creating the training effect. They just do what they are told.
High School Basketball
With high school basketball starting it up, I thought I’d roll it back to high school.

Glad I was able to cover my face with this one because it‘s a doozy. Probably even tougher for me because my legs are 8 feet long, which increases the lever arm. If this seems too advanced for you, take out the curl up part (head and shoulders off the floor) and just reach with the arms while extending the leg. AKA Dead Bug Leg.
