Week in Review on gillaspytraining.com:
Breathing for Recovery
Probably not one of the first things someone thinks about in regards to recovery, but that doesn’t make it any less important. This may be one thing you aren’t doing that takes your training to another level. At the very least, it’s definitely not ideal to run out of the gym immediately after finishing a workout. Start seeing a good cooldown as part of the workout, and just another piece of the puzzle.
Everybody really likes to say the same myths over and over, without even thinking twice about if it’s good information or not. Make sure you’re getting your advice from someone who is doing everything they can to give you good information, and it doesn’t always matter what they look like.
Overlooked RDL Variation
This exercise was just in my program. I was thinking the other day how you don’t see sumo RDL’s as often as more of the conventional variations and the sumo deadlift.
Mary and Bobby Progress
These two have been making awesome progress. I’m not sure how much weight Mary could press when she started, but I’d say she’s more than doubled it.
Thanks for reading and have a great week.
