Interestingly enough, there are some studies that show a correlation between grip strength and mortality. That being said, here’s one of my favorites to work the grip and eventually challenge the core as well.

Why So Risky?


This is one of those things that’s surprising is so prevalent. You’ll commonly see people deadlifting heavy loads with rounded backs and trying to squat weight that is squatting them. If you become too risky with your training, you eventually won’t be available for competition. Save the risky business for competition and use training to maximize things outside of the gym.
